Petzl Sirocco Video

SIROCCO® - Ultra-lightweight climbing and mountaineering helmet with reinforced protection The SIROCCO is designed to respond to the needs of climbers and mountaineers for reduced weight and for protection. Its head-covering shape, lower in the rear, offers reinforced protection. Optimized volume on the head, along with excellent ventilation, provide maximum comfort.

I was asked by Petzl to edit this video about the Petzl SIROCCO climbing helmet for their global marketing efforts. I was given a collection of action footage to use and was left to shoot the studio footage myself, write the script, record the voiceover (not my voice), and edit the entire thing. 

Petzl Actik Core Video

The rechargeable ACTIK CORE headlamp offers 350 lumens of power which, combined with its mixed beam, makes it ideal for outdoor activities like mountaineering, running, hiking and backpacking. A HYBRID headlamp that comes with CORE, a battery that is rechargeable via standard USB port. It is compatible with standard batteries without the need for an adapter.

Petzl asked me to edit this video about the Petzl ACTIK CORE headlamp. After receiving a collection of action footage, I was left to shoot all the studio shot--as well as some supplemental action shots, write the script, record the voiceover (not my voice), and edit the entire thing.

Petzl Exo AP Video

I was asked by Petzl to create three instructional videos for the Petzl EXO AP personal escape system. I tackled the project from scratch. I worked with the Petzl Technical team to storyboard the videos and write the script. I was able to do all the camera work, voiceover recording (not my voice), and editing.

Petzl GRIGRI Plus Video

GRIGRI+ is an assisted braking device designed for all climbers, for both indoor and outdoor climbing. It can be used with all single ropes (optimized for 8.9 to 10.5 mm diameter ropes) and is suited for intensive use. The reduction handle offers exceptional descent control.

Petzl asked me to help them shoot some footage for the Petzl GRIGRI Plus video they were putting together for promotional use. I was in charge of shooting the outdoor group climbing scenes and the interview with the climbing instructor, mainly at 3:06 in the video.

Petzl Tikka Video

Simple and compact, the TIKKA headlamp offers 200 lumen brightness and a wide beam. With its long burn time, it is practical for outdoor activities like camping or trekking, or for traveling, and also for daily activities and projects around the house.

I was asked by Petzl to script, storyboard, shoot, and edit this video about the Petzl TIKKA headlamp for their globally marketing efforts. 

Petzl Holiday Videos

Petzl asked me to head up their annual holiday video project and create a holiday video for both the sport and pro sides of their business. I worked closely with the Petzl marketing team to storyboard, shoot, and edit the videos.

Petzl Reverso Video

Assisted breaking does not mean hands-free. Make sure you always keep your hand on the brake strand when using any type of tubular belay device, like the Petzl REVERSO, in guide-mode. Produced for Petzl by Benjamin Eaton.

Petzl asked me to create this technical instruction video about the Petzl REVERSO. The Petzl Marketing team handled the storyboard and shooting. I was in charge of editing and even got to be one of the climbers.
