With six kids, my wife and I have proven that you can still go on crazy awesome adventures and leave behind all the messy, complex, and time-consuming logistics that are usually associated with camping as a family.
Our camper van is a simple one but we built it out to safely transport 8 people, comfortably sleep 8 people, and haul all the gear we need for 8 people.
Now that we have the benches in our van facing each other, the kids can play games. We are able to fit these simple folding tables (tv trays) between the benches and allow the kids to play card games and draw. #SeekOutTheAdventure

Mounting your gear to the hitch of your van is a great solution, but it can impede your access to the rear cargo area. With a hitch swing arm from Rak Attach or Wilco Offroad, you can mount cargo baskets, bike racks and more to the rear of your van and still be able to open the back doors.
